March for India with OVBI in NYC Independence Day Parade

OVBI invites you to join us for the Indian Independence Day Parade (Aug 18th – NYC)

March with us and be part of the world’s biggest Indian gathering outside of India which sees around 150,000 visitors.

Meeting Point – Cross-section at 37th St, Madison Avenue
(Earlier we mentioned 37th and Park Ave.
We will have 1-2 volunteers with OVBI Banner
to guide people to 37th and Madison Av)

Start Point – 38th street to 27th Street on Madison Av

Dress Code: White T-shirt. dark blue jeans.
(If possible white shoes)

Parade Time: Assemble time :11:30 PM,
(Start Time: 12.30pm , End Time: 2.30pm)

Overseas Volunteer for a Better India (www.overseasvbi.org) launched in May 2013, is driven by a group of inspired NRIs who came together with a common goal of creating a better India. OVBI is overseas arm of VBI (Volunteer for a better India) India whose mission is to educate, empower and enable every individual to make a positive difference in our
country and for our country. It aims at:

– Educating the Indian masses on rights and responsibilities in a democratic process

– Holistic integrated development of society by empowering the individuals and creating grass roots leaders.

– Creating future leaders through the school of good governance
